Hi! I'm Fiona (she/her) and am currently a third-year PhD candidate in the lab of Debora Marks. I am part of the Systems, Synthetic, and Quantitative Biology program at Harvard and am interested in computational models for predicting protein structure and function.
Before graduate school, I received my B.S. in Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where I did antibiotic drug discovery and protein biochemistry in the labs of Eric Oldfield and Robert Gennis. I also spent a few years as a Protein Engineer at Ginkgo Bioworks, which was fun, too.

Outside of science, I like making new things, such as functional pottery, zines, stickers, and other art. I also play bassoon with community orchestras in the Greater Boston area, such as the Cambridge Symphony and Longwood Symphony. Need a bassoonist for your group, recording, or project? Please reach out!
